Interesting observation from the above table:

  • The sex ratio at birth is 1.046 i.e. 104.6 boys per 100 girls.
  • For the 60-64 years, the sex ratio is 0.922 i.e. 7.8 less men per 100 women.
  • While for senior most population of 85+ age group, the sex ratio is 0.527 i.e. 52.7 senior men per 100 senior women.

Scope of gender :

Please note that American Community Survey asks a question about the respondents current sex, but not about gender, sexual orientation, or sex at birth. Our research and this dataset mirrors the data reported as Male and Female for gender distribution analysis. No further analysis is done on the data reported from the Census Bureau.
